Boy & Girl

I Saw a couple on the square, lost in each others eyes.
Holding hands and laughing glued hypnotized. Happy, to watch the clouds roll by.
It was bitter cold, they didn't seem to care.
And the truth be told, there was a fever there,
Between them, under a February sky.

A smile and whisper in his ear made him a hero, he ruled the world.
And when he took her in his arms, he took away her fear, this fairytale, Boy & Girl.

I watched them for a while, until they disappeared and I was left alone, wishing that you were here, beside me, the way it used to be.

I used to walk that square lost inside your eyes, who cares about the cold, a fever's there, under the February skies.
Cause when you held me in your arms, with all your many charms, cause when you held me in your arms, you ruled the world.
